FAMILY TREE
Gee Sin, Pak Mei, Fung Tao Tak, Miu Hin and Ng Mui was the "Five Elders" who survived the burning down of the Siu Lam (Shaolin) Monestry. They escaped the fire and went their separate ways. Ng Mui - the only female monk amongst the "five elders" - hide in the Bak Hok Koon (White Crane Temple). She soon became friends with Yim Yee and his daughter Yim Wing Tsun |

Ng Mui teaches the style to Yim Wing Tzun and the two perfected the system with partner exercises

Yim Wing Tzun married Leung Bok Chau whom she teaches the style to
- Leung Bok Chau names the style after his wife and passes his knowledge onto Leung Lankwai
- Leung Lankwai an herbal physician of theology teaches the system to Wong Wah Bo
- Wong Wah Bo was an actor in an opera groupe who exchanged techniques with Leung Yee Tei

Leung Yee Tei was a poler on a ‘red junk’ and he had learned the classical Shaolin Kung Fu from one of the other5 elders of the destroyed temple, Master Chi Shin. Leung YeeTei’s favourite set of techniques was the 6 1/2 Long Pole techniques and he exchanged these with Wong Wah Bo.They refined the weapon using Wing Tzun principles and the system acquired its second weapon set. Leung Yee Tei passed the system on to Leung Jan

Leung Jan was a famous physician of the Fatshan area and he was a more prolific teacher than many before him. He taught his sons Leung Tsun, Leung Bik and also a man called Chan Wah Shun

Chan Wah Shun’s (also known as ‘Wah the money changer’) final disciple was Yip Man. Yip inherited the system from Wah but completed it under Leung Bik the 2nd son and disciple of Leung Jan

Leung Bik completed Yip Man’s training
Great Grandmaster Yip Man taught many students including Bruce Lee. The last student Yip Man took on was Leung Ting to whom he taught the complete system

Si Jo Leung Ting was the first to take Wing Tzun to Europe and he had many students. Foremost amongst these was Emin Boztepe

Dai Sifu Emin Boztepe originally trained under Keith Kernspecht but went on to learn directly from Leung Ting himself. Emin separated from the Leung Ting system and started his own school the Emin Boztepe Martial Arts System. It is important to note that the system we learn from Emin is the original Wing Tzun taught from Ng Mui down through all the masters and Emin makes no attempt to claim the system as his own. Rather he is one of only a few respected masters to receive the full system

Sifu Zsolt (George) Boka begin his Wing Tzun training under Sifu Norbert Madai in Hungary 1989. He joined EBMAS in 2002 and since 2005 He's the leader of the Emin Boztepe Martial Arts System New York City (EBMAS NYC) brunch. He received his Sifu title from Dai Sifu Emin Boztepe in 2009.
